aeroponics

Aeroponics - process of growing plants in air. The roots get more oxygen directly, it does need some mist though, and nutrients reaching the free floating roots.
(contrasted with geoponics)

the difference is in the nutrients the plants are able to gather and hence supply

of course it exists, but i wouldnt contrast the two. no drama.

a plant with free floating roots in the air, gathering food from the mist v/s roots firmly in ground, formidable, the earth toiling. i like.

hydroponic is such an in between
